What the #LatteSalute Says About Managed print Services

The internet is afire with accusations and defense around the President of The United States(POTUS) lackluster salute.

Say and think what you want, but our personal, core values are illustrated every day, on a subconscious level.  The clothes we wear, our body language even the way we look at others, tells the world who we are and what we believe.  How we move and act when nobody is watching displays how we feel about ourselves and the world around us.
Our defensive masks are removed.

Take away the title, remove the public air and awe of the office and observe an everyday guy, walking to work.  What can we deduce?

This guy has little regard for doorman who says, "Good morning" everyday.
This person will take a call on his cell in the middle of your conversation.
This person believes there are "Little people".
This person does not understand the world from any other perspective than his own.

...I could go on...

Managed print Services - or Any Other "Manufacturer Driven" Ecosystem

Managed print services is designed to reduce costs by reducing MIF and output volume.  It doesn't matter if you believe it or not - clients and end-users are acting this way.

When a company announces managed print services, paper reduction strategies or MpS-compliant hardware, are they saluting prospects while holding a styrofoam cup?

Ink vs. toner, tablet interfaces on copiers, paperless is a myth, mobile print, erasable copiers, are nothing more than a #LatteSalute - be aware but don't buy in.

The President revealed his disconnect with ceremony, and lack of respect for and understanding of, the people he was elected to lead.

Do you see #LatteSalutes around you?
