Industry Pundit and MPS Pro Ken Stewart Joins Photizo

A friend of DOTC, indeed one of the earliest "connections" I made out here in the MPS Ecosystem, Ken Stewart.

It is a great honor to know this gentleman, and to see one of the MPS Titans receive "just rewards".

Congratulations, Ken. Photizo is fortunate to have you.

Stewart brings channel background, customer experience and MPS leadership

Lexington, KY – July 30, 2010 – Ken Stewart, experienced managed print services professional, founder of industry blog ChangeForge.com, and decorated former Marine, has joined Photizo Group, leading advocate of managed print services research and consulting. In his new role as senior consultant, Stewart will focus on developing education tools, training, and other programs for the reseller channel.

"I am honored to join a team I so greatly respect, and believe this exciting opportunity to be a marriage of like minds and passions. As this industry continues to evolve, I look forward to serving our clients with integrity, intensity and insight as part of Photizo Group," said Stewart.

'We are excited to have Ken join the Photizo team to bolster our channel services. He brings such great skills to the position, and his contributions to the industry through the ChangeForge blog are a positive asset as well,” said Photizo Group COO, David Cameron.

About Ken Stewart

Ken Stewart has navigated technology for over a decade, advising businesses on using technology, process and people to overcome challenges. Stewart is owner and developer of ChangeForge.com, recently named #6 of the “top 50 sales blogs to watch” by the respected Evan Carmichael entrepreneur blog. He also serves on the Board of the Managed Print Services Association, the international industry organization advancing best practices worldwide. Stewart graduated from Western Governors University with a BS in Information Technology Network Management. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

His MPS experience includes a customer role, where he deployed a MPS Stage 2 & 3 program in 2001. He was also part of a dealer management team, which grew revenues by 50 percent, while avoiding staff increases in non-essential business areas. As part of management transition team during an acquisition, he successfully migrated all business operations, team members and customers with no loss due to the transition.

“We are extremely pleased to have someone of Ken’s caliber join the Photizo team. He has a solid background in this industry from both end user and channel perspectives. His accomplishments, insights and connections within the industry will be immensely valuable to our channel clients,” said Photizo Group founder and CEO, Ed Crowley.

  1. Greg, thank you for the kind words. This promises to be exciting and allows me the opportunity to bring together many of my interests and passions under one roof. I think the most exciting is a new promise to continue helping this industry grow and continue learning from a new vantage.

PS - I still don't know who decided that I was a pundit or MPS pro ;-)
